We had our friend and mixologist extraordinaire Chris develop a cocktail inspired by our love for all things local and farm fresh. Give it a go and let us know what you think!
0.5 oz Ginger Liqueur (we like Stirrings)
0.75 oz Honey-Thyme Syrup (recipe below)
1/4 oz lemon juice
Optional: 5 dashes King Floyd's Scorched Pear and Ginger Bitters
Mix all ingredients into a shaker, and shake with ice until well chilled. Fine strain over our Whiskey Stones in a rocks glass.
Fresh thyme and a lemon twist.
HONEY THYME SYRUP
1 cup honey
1 cup water
10 fresh thyme sprigs
Bring water to a boil, and immediately add honey and thyme.
Stir until honey mixes with water. Reduce heat and steep for 20 mins stirring often. Strain out herbs, and fix your drink!
